The side event “Empowering Africa’s Next Generation of Public Health Leaders: The Kofi Annan Fellowship in Global Health Leadership Experience” will be held during CPHIA 2025 in Durban, South Africa. Organized by the Africa CDC in partnership with the Kofi Annan Foundation, the event will highlight the transformative impact of the Kofi Annan Global Health Leadership Programme (KA-GHLP) in developing visionary African public health leaders. It will showcase fellows’ leadership projects, alumni achievements, and partnerships that strengthen health systems. The session aims to enhance visibility, attract diverse candidates, and foster collaboration to sustain Africa’s health leadership pipeline.
