This side event, led by Africa CDC in collaboration with WFP, WHO, and UNICEF, highlights the MEDFLOW AFRICA Project a joint Africa CDC–WFP initiative advancing the seamless cross-border movement of humanitarian medical supplies during health emergencies. It will bring together policymakers, customs authorities, and health partners to address regulatory and logistics bottlenecks, share innovations, and define priority actions for harmonized protocols. The session aligns with the Africa CDC–WHO Joint Emergency Action Plan (JEAP) and leverages insights from the Continental Supply Chain Snapshot and Warehouse Landscape Analysis under the Africa CDC–UNICEF Joint Action Plan.
