Women remain underrepresented in Africa’s health research, development, and innovation (HRD&I) ecosystem. This AHRIDA-led side session, under Track 6: Women and Youth in Africa: Driving Health and Innovation will spotlight African women scientists and innovators in a dynamic TED Talk-style format. Through personal stories and solution focused dialogue, participants will explore persistent gender gaps, share strategies to translate recommendations into measurable action, and co-create a roadmap for equity, accountability, and leadership pathways that position women as indispensable drivers of Africa’s health innovation agenda.
