There is growing interest in understanding the long-term impacts of international deployments on national health systems, particularly in terms of capacity strengthening, preparedness, and resilience. To address this, Africa CDC and the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team (UK-PHRST) conducted a multi-country impact study. The findings of this study were validated through a high-level workshop in June 2025 and have informed the development of a comprehensive Roadmap and Good Practice Guide. This side event will serve as the official launch and dissemination platform for the roadmap and guide, fostering discussion on how to institutionalize its recommendations across AU Member States.
