Prof. Albert Mwembo Tambwe-A-Nkoy graduated from the University of Lubumbashi in 1994. He is a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics from the University of Lubumbashi (2002). He obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp (2007) and a PhD in Public Health at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (2012). He was an expatriate gynaecologist in the integrated medico-nutritional care project for children under 5 years old and pregnant and breastfeeding women in Dakoro, Niger in 2008 with Médecins Sans Frontières/Belgium. Currently, he is Vice-Dean in charge of Research at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lubumbashi, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Clinics of Lubumbashi (since 2005), Professor at the University of Lubumbashi since 2012 at the Faculty of Medicine and the School of Public Health (ESP-UNILU). In relation to research and scientific publications, he is the editorial director of the African Journal of Medicine and Public Health and the author of several publications.
