Dr. Folorunso O. Fasina is a distinguished Nigerian veterinarian with a rich academic and professional background. He holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and has two PhDs in molecular and classical epidemiology from the University of Pretoria and the Netherlands Universities, respectively. His expertise lies in infectious disease epidemiology, health economics, and disease ecology and modeling using the One Health approach. Dr. Fasina has been involved in significant research and has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers. He has also served as a Professor at the University of Pretoria and worked as the Country Team Leader at the Emergency Center for Transboundary Animal Diseases (ECTAD) in Kenya and Tanzania. His contributions to the field have been recognized with numerous awards and honors.
